FREE 1 Hour Assessment of the Spaces to be Organized.

During the assessment, questions will be asked that will help me to determine your organizing preferences.  Facts will be gathered such as how you have tried to organize the space in the past and what is or is not currently working.  Through this discussion I will identify any frustrations you have and this will help me to tailor the organizing experience to fit your needs along with your lifestyle. 


Discussion
of the job will include deciding what level of help you would like to pursue.


Organizer Only:
This option is for those individuals who do not have time to do everything and just need someone to come in and “take care of it” or “organizing is just not their thing”.  No problem, that is why I am here and I love to organize! 


Side-by-Side:
You and I will work as a team to tackle whichever space you would like to start with first.  It is much more fun to organize with someone and also educational because you will learn as we go the way I organize each space.  Plus, if you can quickly make decisions, the job is accomplished faster than if you tackled it on your own.


Homework:
This is the most economical option for those who feel they can tackle the space by themselves, but need a little coaching or advice.  After the first assessment of the space, I will assign “homework” to be completed by the next visit.  I bill for “homework” sessions in 30 minute increments, unless the client chooses to extend the time longer.


Maintenance:
Some clients just don’t have the time to keep up with the paperwork they accumulate in their home offices and call me quarterly to file this for them.  Other clients just need a good de-cluttering annually of their closet or garage/attic.  Also, as you go through a life change, such as kids, empty nesting, or a new business, many call me to help them transition and re-arrange their space to fit their ongoing needs.


If you do not see an option that fits your needs, I will tailor my services to meet them.  I do this with many of my clients.

 

Paperwork signed includes:

 Privacy Document – we will not give your information to anyone else.  Also we will not discuss your information or project outside the business unless you give us permission.  For example, Before & After pictures or testimonials.

Payment Terms Agreement – I am paid hourly and am reimbursed at cost for materials purchased.  This includes off-site projects, such as purchasing organizational supplies which are billed in half-hour increments.  The customer will receive a “time receipt” for every day worked to track my progress.  Payment is due the day the work is completed, but for ongoing projects I am to be paid every week.  I accept cash or checks only.

Job Organization Agreement – This includes if you will help organize or not, hourly fee, date to begin project, area to begin project, future areas, satisfaction guarantee, etc.


How Many Hours Will My Space Take to Organize?

This will depend on how quickly you can make decisions, how talented you are at packing items into the space, and of course the size of the actual space that I will be organizing.  I shy away from giving exact hours needed to organize a space if the job is a large one, but on smaller jobs I sometimes give a range of hours needed after viewing the space.  Why I am tentative about giving exact hour estimates is because there are many variables that can’t be accounted for during an organizing session, from finding priceless pictures that need to be carefully looked through to when working with children I make sure they have a  “break time” to make it through an organizing session.
